The call for proposals for the 2020 Eportfolio Forum Online on 29-30 October 2019 online are now closed.

Submissions are now closed for:

  • 20×20 presentation  6-7 mins presentation consisting of 20 timed slides which run for 20 secs each + 7-8 mins Q&A (30 October)
  • Digitally Interactive Poster – 6-7 mins electronic poster presentation which is showcased via a computer during a break-out session, and allows participants to interact with the information via a computer or mobile device for 7-8 mins (30 October) – Suggested applications to create your digitally interactive poster includes: H5P, Advanced PowerPoint or Google Slides, Thinglink, Glogster, Canva, Piktochartclick here to review Larissa D’Angelo’s From Posters to e-Posters: The Evolution of a Genre
  • Intensive workshop – 60 mins hands-on session where participants are actively involved (29 October) – You must be an experienced online facilitator or have a co-facilitator with online facilitation experience.  You will also be asked to provide indicative activities you will undertake which are suitable for online attendees.
  • In-depth workshop – 90 mins hands-on session where participants are actively involved (30 October) – You must be an experienced online facilitator or have a co-facilitator with online facilitation experience.  You will also be asked to provide indicative activities you will undertake which are suitable for online attendees.
  • Facilitate a professional conversation – lead a 50 min group discussion around a topic (30 October) – no presentation slides permitted – must be suitable for online attendees
  • CLOSED: Shortened (peer reviewed paper) presentation – 15 min presentation + 5 min Q&A based on a 500-750 word (+ abstract) published peer reviewed paper (29 October) – click here to download the Shortened (peer reviewed) presentation paper – Style Guide

Call for proposal timeline:

  • 11 March 2020 – Open call for proposals (updated 6 May 2020)
  • CLOSED: 22 June 2020 – Close call for proposals for Shortened (peer reviewed paper) Presentations
  • Week beginning 29 June 2020 – Notify outcome of call for proposal for Shortened (peer reviewed paper) Presentations submissions (including notification of invitation to submit a peer reviewed paper)
  • 22 July 2020 – Close call for proposals for all other Presentations/Workshops
  • Week beginning 29 July 2020 – Notify outcome of call for proposal for all other Presentations/Workshops
  • 10 August 2020 – Submission of peer reviewed papers
  • 7 September 2020 – Notify of acceptance of peer reviewed pending any required revisions
  • 6 October 2020 – Submission of updated peer reviewed papers
  • 22 October 2020 – Submission of presentation slides and handouts
  • 29-30 October 2020 – 2020 Eportfolio Forum Online

Proposal themes and sub-theme:

Proposals should fit into one or more of the following conference sub-themes. Those proposals not fitting into these themes should provide an explanation of how the proposal supports the overall event theme of “Digital Identity – Ethics and Experience”.

You will be asked to explain how your proposal meets the conference theme and selected sub-theme(s), and the learning outcomes for participants of your proposal as part of the submission process.
