Guidelines for presenting / facilitating in a dual delivery / blended environment

Submissions were being accepted for:

  • 20×20 presentation – 6-7 mins presentation consisting of 20 timed slides which run for 20 secs each + 7-8 mins Q&A (27 October)
  • Digitally Interactive Poster – 6-7 mins electronic poster presentation which is showcased via a computer during a break-out session, and allows participants to interact with the information via a computer or mobile device for 7-8 mins (27 October) – Suggested applications to create your digitally interactive poster includes: H5P, Advanced PowerPoint or Google Slides, ThinglinkGlogsterCanvaPiktochart – click here to review Larissa D’Angelo’s From Posters to e-Posters: The Evolution of a Genre
  • Intensive workshop – 60 mins hands-on session where participants are actively involved (26 October) – You must be an experienced online facilitator or have a co-facilitator with online facilitation experience.  You will also be asked to provide indicative activities you will undertake which are suitable for online attendees.
  • In-depth workshop – 90 mins hands-on session where participants are actively involved (27 October) – You must be an experienced online facilitator or have a co-facilitator with online facilitation experience.  You will also be asked to provide indicative activities you will undertake which are suitable for online attendees.
  • Facilitate a professional conversation – lead a 50 min group discussion around a topic (27 October) – no presentation slides permitted – must be suitable for online attendees
  • Shortened (peer reviewed paper) presentation – 15 min presentation + 5 min Q&A based on a 900-1200 word (+ abstract) published peer reviewed paper (26 October) – click here to download the Shortened (peer reviewed) presentation paper – Style Guide

  • ePortfolios Australia will provide:
    • online workshop / facilitation tips/tricks

    • training leading up to the Forum
    • an online moderator to assist with each session

Call for proposal timeline:

  • 31 March 2022 – Open call for proposals
  • 6 June 2022 – Close call for proposals
  • Week beginning 14 June 2022 – Notify outcome of call for proposal submissions (including notification of invitation to submit a peer reviewed paper)
  • 15 August 2022 – Submission of peer reviewed papers using file naming convention: surname_paper_title
  • 12 September 2022 – Notify of acceptance of peer reviewed pending any required revisions
  • 4 October 2022 – Submission of updated peer reviewed papers
  • 19 October 2022 – Submission of presentation slides and handouts using file naming convention: surname_session_title
  • 26-27 October 2022 – 2022 Eportfolio Forum

Proposal themes and sub-theme:

Proposals should fit into one or more of the following conference sub-themes. Those proposals not fitting into these themes should provide an explanation of how the proposal supports the overall event theme of “Intersecting life and learning”.

You will be asked to explain how your proposal meets the conference theme and selected sub-theme(s), and the learning outcomes for participants of your proposal as part of the submission process.
